Quiz Night

Saturday, 18th May, 7 pm for 7.30 pm, Park Hall

Now’s the time to organise your tables for this very popular annual Quiz Evening with a Fish & Chips Supper. The quiz will take place on Saturday, 18th May at 7:00 for 7:30pm, at Park Hall.

Tickets are priced at £15 a head and include a Fish and Chips Supper.  There is a vegetarian choice of veggie burger and chips. For those who find the portion of chips too big, we are offering the option of large fish and small portion of chips.

Please be aware that this event is a “Bring your own Drinks and Glasses” evening. You may also like to bring your own Tartar sauce, gherkins, or anything that you would like to complement your meal with. Plastic forks are provided but you may prefer to bring your own cutlery.

A raffle will be held in the evening. Raffle tickets can be purchased only with cash and we would appreciate you bringing money if you would like tickets.

A ticket application form is attached to the Newsletter that we emailed to our friends. The ideal number of participants per table is six, although we are happy to extend that number to a maximum of eight if really necessary. If you do not have a party of six and would like to join another table, please let us know.

Friends of Cosne AGM

Wednesday, 8th June, 7 pm for 7.30 pm, The Engineer

Our AGM this year will be again in the Engineer pub. Although we have not had a twinning exchange recently, we have exciting new plans for the future which we would like to share with you. Most importantly, we are discussing a visit to Cosne next year.

A glass of wine will be offered on your arrival. You can also order your meal at the time, which will be served after the AGM.

This is always a friendly informal evening, where we get a chance to catch up. We keep the formal part short and sweet and the emphasis is on the social element. We are also open to any suggestions for future events.

We are hoping to see you there.
